Sorry I have been MIA
It has been awhile since my last post... this is my first posting of 2006. You are all probably wonder why I have been MIA, huh?
A lot of things happened during my MIA period
1. My great-grandma on mommy's side had a bad stroke at the beginning of the year... pretty serious, my mommy says I am too young to visit her, so I can only stay home and wish her to get well soon.
2.My daddy has been taking classes to prepare for some exam these days, and again I am too young to help out, so I only can wish him the best on his exam. I am sure he will do well, cuz my daddy is smart!
3. I have been wanting to act like a grown-up, and I finally learned how to eat a banana on my own... I was able to finish one whole banana myself one time.
4. I also have been practicing eating by myself with a spoon or fork, I am still not that good (I get lazy sometimes... it's so much easier when other people are feeding me or i use my hands).
5. I got a really bad cold right before Chinese New Year, my mommy and daddy even had to take me to ER for the very first time. We were there for almost 7 hours; they poked me with needles to get some blood for testing, and they put me on this huge machine for picture (X-ray)... after 6 hours sitting in that cold room, the doctor told my mommy and daddy that I have a really bad virus, and there is no medicine for it, I just had to fight it myself. It took me about 2 weeks to get all better... during the time, my mommy got so sad because I lost about 2 lbs due to a loss of appetite.
6. Mommy entered me into the Regis and Kelly beatiful baby contest this year. I geuss I didn't win because I haven't heard about visiting New York to see Regis and Kelly. Maybe next year.
It's only Februrary, but I feel like so many things have happened already this year... I guess I am just growing up really fast. Even though many bad things have happened this year, I still very optmistic about 2006. I am sure many good news/things will soon arrive (I found out some good news just last week - Soon I will have two new playmates from Uncle Shao and Auntie Hedy & Uncle Marcus and Auntie Angela) and I hope I will starting talk soon... so I can drive my mommy and daddy crazy.
