Mommy is sad...

Today I saw my mommy cried when my Nanny Cherie told mommy that she accepted a full-time job offer. I am not sure what that meant... but both of them looked sad during their conversation. After Cherie left, mommy told me in tears that we should be happy for Cherie's new job; she said that once we come back from our Taiwan trip (Mommy and I are going to visit my grandma next week), we will have to adjust to a new life style and maybe a new nanny... Since I am just a baby, I am not really sure what's going on, but I can tell that mommy is really sad. I hope she will be happier tomorrow.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Happy Saint Paddy's Day everyone. Last night I went with Mommy and Daddy to Auntie Janice and Uncle George's house for corned beef and cabbage dinner. I didn't try any but I saw all my friends there (Uncle Shao and Auntie Hedy, and my godparents Uncle G and Auntie Sharon). I also noticed alot of people wearing green clothes today. Hopefully when I start going to school I will learn all about this holiday.

Fore!

When i got home today, I saw Daddy was playing with Mommy's golf clubs. He put this cover on her driver that looks like Inu, except that inu has more grey hair than the cover. It was funny, I was playing with it and Inu. She didn't like it. I think she thought I was playing with another dog.

Here's a picture of it and my dog, Inu, do you think it looks like my dog too? Mommy is taking golf lessons now, when I am older I will take lessons too. I think I'm going to get snoopy golf clubs to match all my other snoopy items.

18 Month Well Baby

So today I went with Mommy to see Dr. Quan again for my 18 month checkup. Mommy is always worried about my progress on these but this time I weighed in at 23 pounds and 33 inches tall. Mommy was happy because my weight is moving up in the scale a little bit. I got another immunization shot which I didn't like but it wasn't as bad as before. Dr. Quan also checked to see how my language development is going. I try to talk to everyone but I don't think they understand what I am saying yet. But at least I can still use the sign language I learned to communicate. Everyone thinks I will begin to talk soon. My next checkup isn't until after I turn 2 years old.
