I'm One Years Old

In the words of Auntie Sharon I'm one years old now... Auntie Sharon and Uncle G are now my godparents, so in Auntie Sharon's honor the title of this entry was written in foblish. It has been such a busy week I'm so tired. First on my birthday, Mommy and Daddy had a party at gymboree with a lot of my friends. Then after a short nap I went to dinner with Grandma and Grandpa at Mayflower in Milpitas with everyone, even Cherie was there. But I stayed up too late and was delerious when I went out to lunch with Great-grandma for her birthday the next day.

Once the week started, Mommy noticed that i had a runny nose and may have caught something from all the people I saw during my birthday. Luckily, today was my one year well baby checkup at Dr. Quans. I weighed in at 19 lbs, 10 ounces and a little over 30 inches tall. My weight is near the 10th percentile but my height is about 60th percentile. Before we left the office they gave me 3 more shots. :( I don't like those needles, have you seen how long they are?

Countdown: One more day

Yesterday I went to get my haircut with Mommy and Cherie in San Ramon. I got to sit in a porsche while I got my haircut. It was a miniature version of Uncle G's except it was yellow. My hair was pretty long so it took a while to finish. This is a picture of me just before they finished. My hair is much shorter but it tends to stick up again. People think I look like my Daddy now.

Tomorrow is my birthday. Mommy and Daddy have planned a party for me at gymboree with a lot of other kids. Then I have a birthday dinner at night with Grandma and Grandpa at Mayflower. One of my Mommy's friends made this picture for me since it's my birthday. It has my new haircut on it too, isn't it cool?

Ok, my hands are tired from typing now, check back in next week for an update and pictures from my birthday parties.

Great Flea Market Mall?

Yay, one more week until my birthday party. I've been practicing walking and I think I'm pretty close to figuring out how it works.

Saturday, I went on a trip into San Francisco. We had dim sum with Great-grandmother at Mayflower on Geary. Lunch took a long time but the people at Mayflowers are always so friendly to me. One of the hosts, took me on a tour of the restaurant while everyone else waited for dessert. It was so cold in San Francisco, nothing like our home in Dublin. Grandpa wanted to do some grocery shopping in the Sunset district before we came home and I got bored so Daddy took me on a walk around Irving St.

Today, Mommy and Daddy took me to Great Mall in Mipitas. I don't know what we were doing there... It was just like that time they took me to the Berryessa Flea Market. There were sooo many people. Someone said because it's the week before school starts. I geuss everyone needs to get new clothes and stuff for school. I was getting tired so after a little while I just decided to close my eyes, and then the next thing I knew we were leaving.

Wanted: Litigation Attorney

So Mommy took me to clubsport today to play with the other kids like we've done before. Only today some kid named JJ ( I think his Mommy works at clubsport, he's always there) knocked me down and I bruised my face. (see picture) :-( The person watching me picked me up but no one paged my Mommy to come and check me out. double :-( When Mommy came to check on me I started crying right away because I wanted her to know how I got hurt. The stupid lady at clubsport didn't have any good answers for Mommy so she called Daddy and now Daddy is going to use his legal writing skills and draft a complaint letter to the operators of clubsport. After a little while I went back to playing and I forgot about my bruise but I hope it doesn't happen again becuase then Mommy and Daddy are going to be really mad.

17 more shopping days until my birthday - heehee.

Happy Birthday!!

Today was my Mommy's birthday. Happy Birthday Ma-ma. (I've been trying to say mama, but i don't think I'm saying it right because when I say it, Mommy just keeps repeating it back to me like she doesn't understand me). Today, Daddy and I took Mommy out to San Francisco for lunch and a nice stroll. Then we came back to the East Bay for dinner with Auntie Annie and Uncle Kenny at Three Seasons in Walnut Creek. I'm still feeling the effects of my virus and I think Daddy got frustrated with me at dinner because I couldn't sit still.

I hope my Mommy had a good birthday, my birthday is coming up too! I'm excited, I think Mommy and Daddy are having a party for me where I get to play with other kids. 26 more days until the 27th.
